RE: Can't trust....

RE: Can't trust....On Stockhouse, 1 board lot is equal to 100 shares. On the TSX and TSX Venture exchange, when the share price is below $0.10, 1 board lot is equal to 1000 shares. When the share price is between $0.10 and $1.00, 1 board lot is equal to 500 shares. And when the share price is above $1.00, 1 board lot equal 100 shares. If you trade with a Candian brokerage account, this is what is used for the amounts of shares available on the bid and ask. When JNR trades over $0.10 (hopefully sooner than later), the board lots will represent 500 shares. I'm not sure what happens when the bid is below $0.10 and the ask is above $0.10. You are correct about the timeliness of Stockhouse. Although the share price update is delayed 15 minutes, the bid and ask strength is updated much slower than that. It is usually 1 trade behind. Therefore, the bid and ask shown is what it was prior to the last trade updated on Stockhouse. Hope this helps.
