RE: News ???
RE: News ???Most deals, even the openfares clients are worth very little to SCS until they get a sales channel that is used, such as SRM, which you say is held up.
Tourtek Burea is an exception, as soon as customer is loaded up SCS get a commission on every sale the company makes, whether the sale is through an SCS channel or not, even telesales for example.
This makes the maths on Tourtek deals easy, look at existing number of bookings prior to going onto TTSB, multiply by the commission SCS charge and you have your gross income.
One thing SB customers are hoping for is that being on SB increases sales channels and therefore sales, (which takes us back to waiting for a successful sales channel to open up).
This deal is worth real money when you hear it has gone live, but as ever, not before. I have yet to lose my bottle of whiskey to jet, (a new TT or an SB deal going live before the company breaks even, neither have happened yet) maybe I will on this deal and maybe not, depends how long income through a GDS / Internet sales channel is delayed I guess?
