Correct, business is seasonal when you are dealing with the O&G services sector (more drilling in winter). The reason for the decline is sales and earning is, now was, due to an industry-wide decline in drilling that was a result of low O&G prices. Now that prices are up, drilling is up and so will RKS profits, I hope. Way undervalued and the company is supposedly expecting record cash flow, even in a downturned sector, now that is a nice story.
IRD - I think will turn around as the overall economy turns around, but it will be a slow progression due to many states with economic problems, back into the red with many. I will enter with the decline, assuming there will be one. On a positive note there wasn't much selling as a result of the earnings release, but the upcoming quarter may be a different story, we shall see. So far this quarter, they have new contracts worth about $3.35 million (not sure how that compares to previous quarters), not too bad with the 1st quarter coming to an end this month, and it isn't known about maitenance fees and international contracts. Good luck to all.
Cheers,
