Bagman10 your own words say it all. The part where you state" As long as operating a diesel engine on NG remains cheaper and cleaner than diesel fuel, HPDI will become the operating choice of trucking fleets and others."
SO FAR NATURAL GAS PRICE HAS EXPLODED TO THE STRATOSPERE.
COUPLE THAT WITH THE COST OF THE HPDI CONVERSION (20-30k), AND YOU GOT YOURSELF PRICED RIGHT OUT OF THE MARKET!
DO I THINK WPT IS GOING TO MAKE IT? NOPE. I THINK THEY WILL RUN COMPELTLEY OUT OF "GAS", GO BROKE AND DE-LIST LIKE SO MANY SPECULATIVES BEFORE THEM AND AFTER THEM HAVE AND WILL CONTUNUE TO DO SO LONG AS THERE ARE WILLING "SUCKERS" TO HAND OVER THE HARD-COLD.
THE INSIDERS WHO CASHED OUT AS STATED IN THE SUN ARTICLE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING. WHY DONT YOU?

"Tighter regulations on conventional diesel will make it (diesel fuel) more expensive." As long as operating a diesel engine on NG remains cheaper and cleaner than diesel fuel, HPDI will become the operating choice of trucking fleets and others. Westport`s aggressive and methodical approach to put in place a NG re-fueling infrustructure is reassuring that Westport is headed in the right direction. Would Westport go to these lengths if they and others were not themselves convinced? And, let`s not forget the NG HPDI electrical power generators up Westport`s sleeve. These generators alone will be in great demand, particularily in California. I personaly do not have any doubts that Westport will become the success story that we`re all betting on. We need only to be patient and not allow ourselves to be swayed by negative commentary.
