Gulf Air President and Chief Executive James Hogan told reporters the Bahrain-based company would add "60 aircraft over 10 years" as part of its long-term strategy. He declined to give further details. Gulf Air said in December it was in talks with Boeing Co, Airbus, Embraer and Bombardier to expand its fleet. The debt-ridden carrier currently runs 30 aircraft. The troubled carrier is adding new destinations after receiving a pledge for a cash injection of nearly $240 million from owner states Bahrain, Oman and Abu Dhabi.
