RE: News release today

RE: News release todayBasically, this is what it said: (From Stockwatch News Release) A small slice of the Lac de Gras diamond play is turning into a promotable story for Jack Maris and Jack Marr's Geodex Minerals Ltd. Mr. Maris and Mr. Marr returned to diamonds early last year in another attempt to revive their struggling company, and although there was a brief flurry of interest earlier last year that carried the stock from a penny to nearly a quarter, a Geodex share could be had for just a nickel again by last fall. Geodex's fledgling diamond promotion is again catching the market's eye however, thanks the favourable location of its Lac claims and some promising geochemistry from a surface sampling program. It is the recent interest of a diamond major that could have the biggest impact on the project and Geodex's shares however. Last week, De Beers Canada Exploration agreed to spend $500,000 exploring the Lac claims by the end of 2005, in exchange for a 51-per-cent stake in the small property immediately southwest of Lac de Gras. De Beers can increase its share of the project to 70 per cent by coming up with the cash to build a mine on the property. De Beers is wasting little time in getting its exploration program rolling. Just a few days after the deal was signed, the company laid plans to drill a circular magnetic anomaly on the eastern portion of the 5,000-hectare block.
