Wallbridge Mining The following was taken from Wallbridge Mining's recent annual report. Remember MOA maintains a 2% NSR on this project. I also understand the 2003 drilling program is currently underway.
Abitibi Project
Wallbridge is currently exploring two properties in Ontario that are located outside of the Sudbury mining camp. One of these, the Ben Nevis property, was acquired in 2002 and is situated in Ben Nevis Township about a one hour drive northeast of Kirkland Lake in the famous Abitibi greenstone belt. Ben Nevis is a large property, which is comprised of 13 patented and 143 unpatented claims. The core 13 leased claims contain the Canagau mine, which was developed in the 1920’s on polymetallic sulphide veins hosted in volcanic rocks equivalent in age to those found in the Noranda mining camp. The property is well located with easy access and in established mining country. The goal of the Company is to find a large volcanogenic deposit containing copper-zinc-silver-gold. The very large, well-mineralized package of rocks at Ben Nevis presents a prime exploration target for this type of deposit. During the last quarter of 2002, Wallbridge has completed re-logging and sampling of all existing diamond drill core and has completed a state of the art geophysical survey. The survey, which combines the IP and MT methods, is designed to collect geophysical data well below the level of the historic exploration. The survey results are being integrated with all available information in order to 3D model depicting the setting of the mineralisation and it is anticipated that if viable targets result, a drill program to test these will follow in the second quarter of 2003.
