Smart Batteries

So who is going to end up with the patents? I am still using my pure energy and rayovac batteries. Just bought 2 more d cell sized ones at Canadian Tire. The problem is that I cannot find any Pure Energy batteries for sale. Maybe at London Drugs they have some!!!! So how did these smart batteries end up not be 'in stock'? They are smart batteries because they do not have a memory effect. LaDust
