RE: Its what they didn't say...no order!!!I'm quite happy about the news release, very happy. Everything has to be taken in context. The context is described in this thread over the last several months and is certainly not going to be repeated by me. The statement about discussions with other companies was
'RailPower is in advanced discussions with a number of potential customers and we continue to receive a growing number of expressions of interest.
So, we have an excellent working relationship with UP built on the foundation of excellent trial results (according to both UP and RailPower); a 30 day trial with the Pacific Harbour Line, unusually short for a comprehensive assessment of the technology, wouldn't you say; a financing which I have no doubt is fully subscribed (I imagine we will see this announced soon); Hartley Richardson, who sits on the Board, participating left and right in the financings and sitting on the Board; and ADVANCED discussions with a NUMBER and growing number of companies. And we also now have commercial product being produced in anticipation of orders, as well as pre-production lower horse power models whose targeted use is industrial yards.
Wish some of the other development companies that I'm invested in had equally bad news.
