Production is expected to commence late fall 2003 to coincide with the official network announcement. The series is expected to air late spring 2004, with 65 shows to be produced over a five-year period. The new program will star Michael Cariglio who delights millions of children with his portrayal of Pappy Drewitt (star of the hit show "Pappyland"), an artist who teaches children how to draw in "real time", prompting hundreds of thousands of letters from kids throughout North America. Upon its release, the program was named a Top Ten Children's Show by TV Guide and was praised by parents and educators alike. The new show, tentatively named "ArtVentures" will also feature drawing and coloring as well as the addition of painting, sculpturing, crafts and other creative expressions, accompanied by lessons on art history from ancient times to today. "We chose iLoveTV after an extensive search of companies offering technology to enhance the interactive experience for television viewers. We expect our new program to be on an entirely new level of audience participation... and what better way to do that than with a hands-on art show? iLoveTV is making this new approach possible in a very exciting way", said Eric J. Roberts, President of Craftsman & Scribes. The "ArtVentures" television show will be produced with a number of imbedded interactive elements that will allow each viewer to actively participate in this new experience. An archived version of the "SynchroCast" will also be available on the "ArtVentures" website. iLoveTV will create and build a dynamic web presence for the new program that will feature iLoveTV's patent pending synchronization technology, providing audiences with an enhanced viewing experience that synchronizes real-time web interactivity with the broadcast of each show. iLoveTV (www.ilovetv.ca) is a multimedia entertainment company and a leader in convergence and interactive solutions for enhancing television programming.
