RE: Question?
RE: Question?Certainly a lot more time than they ever predicted, and I have lost count of the number of times they have predicted imminent breakeven over the last 4 years. I think Rick has been much more realistic, and is surprised himself at how much longer it has taken than he thought. Prior to Rick, I am not sure anything about future predictions could be trusted or beleived.
I reckon middle of next year myself, end of next year worst case, and I would want to see a good explanation for why the additional delay if it was that long.
Note for SCS!
Don't shut up shop and say nothing when things are delayed. Delays in SRM have been getting on for a year from original predictions. Delays in booking engines areup to 4 years. I think it helps to say why rather than leave us to guess / assume it has gone belly up. Continually posting the positive and not explaining the delays when it doesn't works out means we don't beleive the positive NR's and Stock does not react to them anymore. The Accovia deal was an excellent NR and look at it's effect!!!!!
Thrifty, appreciated your feedback from Rick, I took it as very encouraging to hear there was a problem and it was being worked on.
'It's an openfares problem not SCS is irrelevant', if openfares aren't able to deliver, we can't, so it is our problem too, and hey, we should have done DD before hand so we knew who we were getting into bed with. Would have preferred to hear 'we have a problem handling mutlinational trips and openfares are working on it'.
Honesty will buy the compnay time and take the pressure of 'gotta deliver income now like you said ou would' away. Unrealistic expectations of investors is murdering the stock price. And the compnay has only itself to blame for creating those expectations.
