FIRESTEEL STAKES CLAIMS IN STIKINE ARCH
Firesteel Resources has staked the Coyote property near Iskut in
north-central British Columbia. This property comprises six claims covering
25 square kilometres. It adjoins bcMetals' Red Chris property where a
20,000-metre drill program is currently being completed. The bcMetals news
in Stockwatch on Oct. 9, 2003, presented many significant copper-gold drill
intersections that were obtained during the initial stage of bcMetals'
program. For example, DDH-03-248 intersected 231 metres of 1.33 per cent
copper and 1.40 grams per tonne gold.
Firesteel's property is partially underlain by the same rock types that
host the Red Chris copper-gold deposit. The company intends to vigorously
explore this new property in 2004.
