RE: forecastsVirginie, you need to read way back in this thread's extensive discussions of patents. First Jeepman's point is right. There will be substanial use of single frequency and protocol readers. Second, SMY will licence the use of its patent and though this well benefit SMY, substantially I might add, other companies, armed with the licence, will come out with their own MP/MF readers. Morover, there is always the risk, and there is no way I can assess the scale of this risk, that another company will produce a MP/MF reader through a technology not covered by SMY's patent. When one gets a patent, the patent relates to the technology of doing something. One doesn't patent the funtion, in this case reading multiple frequencies or protocols. Lots of discussion of these points, on this thread, from time to time in the past.
