RE: Questions Reagrding ThinkMagic

RE: Questions Reagrding ThinkMagic4putt, that may be ThingMagic's "claim" in a promotional sense but it does not qualify as a "claim" to intellectual property in its agile reader. Come to "thing" of it, has ThingMagic attempted to patent its reader? If so, there should be a description of its patent claim which the technical amongst us may be able to compare to SMY's claim that has already been granted. If there has been no patent application by ThingMagic, well, well, it's certainly interesting to speculate about why that might be the case. I suspect that over the next few months we will get some clarification of the important intellectual property issues. Everyone connected with the RFID industry, those manufacturing and designing readers, RFID softwear companies, resellers, end users, everybody will very likely become aware of SMY's patent. The reaction could be quite informative. One final point, lets assume hypothetically that there exists more than one design to agile readers. Seems to me that the market is plenty large to accomodate "both".
