Mr. Andre Proulx reports
GRADES AND SURFACE AREA DOUBLED ON MONT-DE-L'AIGLE -- DRILLING BEGINS
Recent trenching and sampling operations have doubled copper grades on the
Turcotte showing and have exposed the mineralized zone over more than 100
metres, with values up to 4.8 per cent copper with an average of 1.7 per
cent copper for 26 selected samples.
Two new trenches were excavated to extend the original showing location
where the mineralization had been defined over a width of 25 metres (news
release in Stockwatch of Nov. 12). The northwest trench has now cut a
mineralized zone over 45 metres wide containing high copper grades, up to
4.8 per cent copper.

The northwest trench, located 25 metres from the Turcotte showing, contains
mineralization over a distance of 30 metres. Samples from this section have
returned values between 0.40 per cent and 4.6 per cent copper.

The Turcotte showing represents the most important copper mineralization
discovered in the Gaspe Peninsula in the past 20 years. Three trenches have
so far exposed exceptional mineralized outcrops with large surface areas
and high-copper values.
Ressources Appalaches has commenced a five-hole drill program to determine
the size aof this new discovery.
