Here is the post
...Wallmart...
Sirit was involved with the Wallmart test. If I recall, the idea was to set up a system that identified when a particular product was totally purchased off the shelf allerting the clerks to restock the product on the floor, or re-order the product.
The other feature was for SECURITY and would allert the store if more than 4 packaged products of the same item were taken off the shelf at the same time (typical of shoplifters). It would automatically signal the security cameras to focus on that section or person at that particular shelf.
There were also a couple ofother applications that got consumer protection groups up in a fit. Wallmart (If I remember correctly) decided to end the test because they were concerned abut the bad Press the had the potential of recieving...
That being said... You can bet that if Walmart was working with Sirit on RFID technology, they probably still have a relationship of one sort or another, as I'm sure that "SAM" Wallmart knows how powerful and efficiant RFID can make everything.
I also remember reading somewhere that wallmart had been interested in Sirit because of our prices... We are much cheaper than the competition which is KEY when dealling with an organization that deals in BILLIONS of UNITS.
...International Paper...
If you look back at the posts on this board over the last couple of months, you will find a few papers that go on to talk about RFID supply chain applications... International Paper was testing Sirits technology by places us on roles in an effort to catalog and organize supply for storage and distribution...
...Revlon...
Revlon also had some type of working relationship with Sirit (I think, I'm trying to remember ??) If you search back, you will find a couple of posts with links to specific numbers and references...
Bottom line...
We are sitting on (IMHO) something MAJOR here. Sirit has already demonstrated their ability to make deals with some of the most important suppliers of goods and services in the world. They also have revenue from RFID applied in different ares (tolls)...
Sirit has cash, is creating revenue, has incredible connections, and has enormous potential being a diversified RFID Technology company!
You, who ever you are, will not get my shares for some time to come!
