oasis hits big on thier drilling

oasis hits big on thier drillinga note from the ADD thd ( but my 2 cents first - yupp - wawa could be an argyle - tonnage has always been envisioned as large and production costs per tonne are likely to be about the cost of a coke can in attawapiskat or less than 1/2 minute of a helicopter rental(800 per hr)! "came out from Oasis and Arctic Star today (Nov.26). It describes the newly dicovered Dogma target as a "metamorphosed kimberlite" and "a probable pipe." John Buckle,PGeo said "I believe this new information solves the Wawa diamond enigma. Highly altered kimberlite pipes will end the debate about the diamond source rocks in theWawa diamond belt". The say the drilling results indicates a tilted pipe structure with a surface in excess of 160 metres...if a crater with this diameter went down 300 metres the tonnage would be over 10 million tonnes. This apparent pipe extends the diamond bearing rock at Enigma to more than 800 metres and if this area is 300 metres deep these bodies could contain 100-200 million tonnes of ore...and they believe this area is only part of a larger system which is open to the east. Now the big question is...ARE THERE COMMERCIAL DIAMONDS??? They have found some high quality yellow fancy diamonds on the surface...now can they find the underground source. If they can do some bulk sampling and get good results then Wawa could become a high volume low-cost mine perhaps on the Argyle model. This would be a great plus for ADD which has a very high probability of a very big mine in Attawapiskat with Fipke. This Wawa mine is not as certain as the big Fipke mine IMHO but it would be nice icing on the cake!"
