Thu Apr 4, 2002 Arctic Star joint ventures diamond property with Oasis -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arctic Star Diamond Corp. (ARCTIC STAR), (CDNX:ADD) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an option agreement with Oasis Diamond Exploration Inc. (OASIS), (CDNX:CSI) whereby Arctic Star has the option to earn a 25% interest in OASIS diamondiferous Enigma Project in Wawa, Ontario by investing $2,000,000 in exploration over 3 years. The agreement calls for ARCTIC STAR to fund exploration expenditures of $350,000 before May 30th, 2002, an additional $500,000 before April 15th, 2003 and the rest before April 2005. OASIS, as operator, will use the money to accelerate the ongoing exploration program. As part of this program, the 700-meter long diamondiferous host structure, that yielded 209 diamonds from 189 kilograms of rock (OASIS press release March 11, 2002), will be drill tested.
