RE: The state of things at Wilan - PunjabI don't make sense eh?
Hmmm, well, maybe hard cold numbers make sense to you then.
Wilan has been doing nothing but falling in price while others have been rising. Today was an up day on the markets across the board, but wilan is down. Does that make sense?
I could care less if HZ wants to donate to his local mosque. WHAT PISS@S ME OFF IS THAT HE IS GIVING THEM SHARE OF THIS COMPANY. Let him use his own personal cheque book.
I don't like the idea of this company being PERCEIVED (rightly or wrongly) as religous anything. I want a secular company period. On the surface it looks like HZ just dumped 20% of his shares period and that is bad for business. It sends a signal to institutional investors.
I don't like the idea of relegious donations under any circumstances in Wilan shares. You don't see Bill Gates donating 10% of his Microsoft shares to the Christian Coalition in the United States do you. No. Perhaps you can enlighten this secular person and show him just what other major companies out there are donating shares to a relegious organisation.
Cold hard numbers. A stock that has been moving lower for weeks now. Has broken through support level after support level. Cold hard numbers. This stock was in the mid fives, now it is in the mid threes.
We need institutional investors and like it or not, the boys on Bay Street aren't going to look too highly on a company who's supreme director is selling off 20% of his shares, 10 percent of which are given to a mosque.
It just doesn't look good.
You may not like it, but it's the way of the world. I need these guys to concentrate on what is good for the shareholders, not trying to impress the local mosque goers.
Like it or not.
