RE: Wi-LAN slashes quarterly loss, rev up. No, it's not a joke, and I don't see how anyone is playing with the share price at the current time. Volumes have been pretty light the last sevral days.
The price is falling.
Sure, revenues were up, but only by 1.6 million dollars last quarter versus last quarter of last year.
Yet their loss fell from 14 million to 866,000.
How is that??????????
Indicates a large amount of cost cutting, not that revenues have increased that substantially thereby eliminating the loss.
The numbers are disproportionate and therefore something odd is happening.
While the results are postive, unfortunately, they are not cause for celebration and hense the current share price reflects that.
