Wendys International segment includes the operation and franchising of Wendys restaurants in countries and territories other than the United States. Global Real Estate & Development segment includes real estate activity for owned sites and sites leased from third parties. It has 6,030 restaurants in the United States, out of which 403 are operated by the Company and 5,627 are operated by a total of 212 franchisees. In addition, the Company also has 1,210 restaurants in 32 foreign countries and United States territories, out of which 1,198 are operated by a total of 106 franchisees and 12 are operated by the Company in the United Kingdom.

three things.1 - You won't get BSE from a BSE cow unless you are eating its brains or spinal column - I trust Mickey D's not to use those. 2 - That BSE cow is not Canada's fault. It was an American farmer that took the "downer cow" to an American stockyard, where it was processed by an American meat processor and sold in American stores. It was Americans that screwed up at every step of this process. Look in the mirror; blame yourselves. 3 - It will be a cold day in hell when I buy American anything again. Or at least until well after there is a full, complete, written, and presidentially-delivered apology for this BSE BS. It is America's fault, now live with it. SadSack
