As for mineman, I think he is getting a little over my head. I hope he is right, but I do not understand completely, so have a bad gut feel (about his theories and interpretations). I respect mineman and his opinions, but in my experience, geophysics are notorious for often giving wrong answers. that old quote "geophysics, of all the sciences is the least exact and most susceptible to conflicting theories to explain similar phenomenon" or something like that.
