Swing Trade vs. Long Term Hold

Swing Trade vs. Long Term HoldSo if you have a short term horizon on this stock you bought it before the news and sold it at or close to the high... then move on to your next plunder, and don't look back Long term investors are looking for a support level at the stock below the 50 day moving average taking a position and tuck it away in a dusty closet untill the second quarter of mining profits. Now how many years is it going to take to get enviornmental approval, roads built, infastructure in place and start to sccop up the overburden... my GUESS here is 2 - 5 years.... So short term positions are being sold off and what is left is 'dead money' untill the mine starts producing. Playing mining stocks is totaly different then investing in other sectors... patience is the key, and timing is more than critical. Long term playing of this stock shows much less risk than swing trading the news, two different approaches, two different investment styles, two different levels of risk But you know all that right???
