Vancouver Show

Vancouver ShowDuring our travels through the Gold Show in Vancouver today, my wife and I had the pleasure of stopping at the ER booth. Don spent over an HOUR talking with us. He happily explained the company's history, his own personal background in the industry and all recent and current happenings within ER. There wasn't one question left unanswered for us. In my experience at several other booths, we were treated quite impersonally, somewhat rushed. Not so with Don. He fully explained everything that we didn't understand about mining and mining terminology. He is obviously passionate about what he does, it shows by the way he talks about it. We even got into some friendly conversation about each other's lives in general, all without being rushed, even as others waited to talk with Don and Cathy. We are not seasoned investors by any stretch, but we were treated like an important part of ER today. Peter Grandich once quoted that it is far better to choose great management with a poor product than to choose poor management with a great product. Guess what... in the case of ER, BOTH the management and the product are A-1. We have a real winner here. JVs with Soquem, GoldCorp, Noranda/Falconbridge more than prove the opinions that I made of the ER team today. Thanks to all who led me to this company.
