As for the activity in the shares, disagree if you like, but this sort of thing happens all the time, and I don't think there is much we can do about it. In this period of time there have been several influential newsletter writers recommending the stock, and that alone could account for the activity. I recently owned Denison. In about a months time, the stock went up more than 100% before it was finally halted for news. Seagrams years back traded millions of shares prior to announcing they had sold their Dupont and bought Universal even denying they knew why up until the day before the announcement. Maybe the system stinks, but I think you might be flogging a dead horse trying to change it.
