My knowledge of Grasberg is not up to snuff either. I did not know they were also underground and I am wondering how a pit slide has affected undg. production. they must have adits to the undg workings from inside the pit? Also have been told that gold production at Grasberg made it the no. 1 gold producer (as in single source) in the world. Not sure how current that info is!
