Mineralization is found in an assemblage of tuff-agglomerate near a very silicious tuff named Marker tuff. Mineralization consists in 2 per cent to 5 per cent sphalerite and about 1 per cent pyrite. True width is from 75 per cent to 80 per cent of core length. In another respect, to accurately locate the south wall of the Barvue pit, five holes totalling 171.5 metres were drilled. Three of these holes intersected some marginal mineralization, which could eventually be added to the mineral inventory of the proposed enlarged Barvue pit. The Abcourt-Barvue property is located 56 kilometres (33.5 miles) northeast of Val- d'Or, Que. It is easily accessible by public roads. This 480.5-metre (1,576-foot) diamond drilling program was supervised by Renaud Hinse, engineer. Mr. Hinse is a qualified person according to National Instrument 43-101. The core is BQ size. It was photographed and the mineralized sections were split. Half of the core was sent to the SGS lab in Rouyn-Noranda to be assayed. Subsequently, the samples were sent to Techni-Lab at Ste-Germaine-De-Boule to be assayed again. The other half of the core and the remaining core are kept in boxes on the mine site.
