moe, you may be right as the private placement aspects may be coming due as well- ie., some may want to lighten their loads a bit while still holding on to those wonderful rights. Just makes the carrying costs that much less. Important to know how many shares can come on the market from the various placements. I hate to admit it, but a big optimist like me is starting to look at this stock with a sideways glance at the large number of shares out there. On the other side of things if they consolidate they will never see another cent from their financiers and current shareholders, so unless they need money, which they dont, then why do it?
