what's the situation in Slocan? Thanks to Jhon for his post of Nigel H. Maund's paper. Nigel said:
"Conclusion
Given all of the foregoing, it is pretty obvious that the management need to re - think the company's strategy. They appear to have lost their way in trying to score "the big hit" or "home run", particularly in their search for another SULLIVAN. More to the point, how can the company get into a producing situation as quickly as possible? The answer may well lie in the small old high grade lead - zinc - silver mines of the SLOCAN Mining Camp. Exploration, and re - evaluation of these properties could return quick dividends and enable the management to transform the company's fortunes and the perception of it in the market. Furthermore, the cash flow from small but lucrative operations would facilitate capital raising by other methods than scrip issues. Perhaps this would put the management in a better financial position to continue their great quest."
This conclusion is impressing me, for I've seen some j.miners' failure when handling world class projects, and I guess gradually- step by step- approach may be less risky and more realistic way to go. Hence, my major concern is WHAT IS THE SITUATION IN SLOCAN? CAN KLONDIKE SUCCESSFULLY & RAPIDLY DEVELOP IT TO A PROFITABLE MINE?
Any comment is welcome.
