RE: kennecott, san martin, claude durocher

RE: kennecott, san martin, claude durochergeoinformatics a kind of investment bank? that's different. I'm thinking they are more a technology than a source of funds. But, if it's what i think, and in keeping with the trend, then what they offer may be in exchange for marketable securities, as 'money' is morphing fairly quickly these days. Take a look at the kennecott deal. Geoinformatics gets a 'file' of drill holes. After running them through the software, and doing their analysis, they determine some are worth a few drill holes. First they have to get the ducks lined up. A potential property(s) goes for a listing (or reverse takeover), then a geologist with a track record signs up, with a few more 'specialists' to round out the board. Geoinformatics has had some success finding gold on current mine sites, so the Goldcorp challenge attests. I'm willing to gamble brownstone and old data will be more friendly than stream bed soil samples in greenstone country. The above scenario is exactly what is going on with 'Sierra Minerals'. Claude Durocher is the geologist with a track record, gets a reverse takeover to get the 'SIM' listing. The Kenneocott property? 'San Martin', a past producing gold mine in Mexico. Drilling 1000m by May 1 says the newsrelease. And who targetted the holes? Geoinformatics. And how was St.Andrews/Geoinformatics paid? why, shares of course. .... over 500,000 shares of the 'new' company. So, down the road, when Geoinformatics gets spun off, 'investment bank' gets a new meaning, as in: "we work for marketable securities". clear as mud, right? Whatya think Moe? abrahmson and his lawyer buddies.. they sniff the money, no?... and it's growing down the street on the TSX
