Investor Digest Story on RailPower

Investor Digest Story on RailPowerAn Investor's Digest story on RailPower is out (April 2/2004 edition,Issue 07/04). Its an excellent and comprehensive story and though it contains many details that close followers of the Company are familiar with, it contains some detail that I certainly was not familiar with. Moreover, it synthesizes the RailPower story in a very useful, comprehendible, way. It sets out one year price targets of analysts which recently introduced coverage of Railpower, ranging from $4.50 to $5 (based on conservative assumptions). It points out that the market in North America is 10,000 units and that the annual market of 1000 is worth $1 billion (per year). It also quotes an analyst as stating that if RailPower can capture 10% of that annual market this would generate ".55c of fully taxed earnings per share." The story reviews the costs, efficiency and environmental advantages of RailPower units in some detail, purchase costs subsidy programs available in the U.S. and so on. I certainly found it a nice read. You can reach an electronic version of the story through www.adviceforinvestors.com Once you get this website, one must directionally surf by clicking on "Publications" (up top) and then under the heading "Download Newsletter", click on "Select Newsletter" and choose "Investors Digest" and click on "Select Dates" and choose "Within the last month". It costs $6 bucks to get access.
