RE: More on Wal-martJust a small point to supplement those already made about the lack of documentation and persuasiveness of the Ron Coates story. Whatever may be the case in North America, remember that Europe is ahead of the RFID curve and that is where SMY's initial opportunities, including rollout opportunities, seem best. And let's not forget that whatever may have been the result of pilots dealing with drugs, tracking of animals, etc., pilots that SMY was not involved in, SMY seems to have scored a major success (and perhaps, major successes) with its pilot(s) in the distribution chain.
Cliff seems to have a honed sense of what RFID can do really well. Let the other companies share in the rest ... for now.
