Vulcan Minerals Inc. is a Canada-based precious and base metals exploration company, which is engaged in mineral exploration on properties in Newfoundland and Labrador. Its projects include Colchester, Gander Belt Gold, Red Cross Lake, South Voisey’s Bay, Carbonear and Atlas Salt. The Colchester Copper Gold Project is in north-central Newfoundland. RE: updateIt don't say rates can't be established, it say's they can't be established yet. I'd be amazed if they claimed they could--it's too soon. It also says this is first well fracted in this basin, there's much to be learned here, it's a wildcat. Another way to frac is directional shape charge, on a wire-line, for some applications--fast and cheap. But doesn't have any sand, etc, in fluid to "prop open" micro fissures. At any rate, i'd expect them to probably drop a pump in and see if they can recover some more frac fluid/oil,water and play with pumping cycles to see if well will develope. Some times it takes more time to complete wells and get them working than it did to drill them. Still very early stages, this well, if not yielding oil will still probably be valuable in info gained.
