releaseCopper Creek operator to begin production testing soon
2004-04-21 20:14 ET - News Release
Mr. Bing Jung reports
Karr-Creek project, Grande Prairie, Alta.
As announced in Copper Creek's news release in Stockwatch of March 16, 2004, Alberta Energy has evaluated recent test results and informed the operator that the 8-24-63-3W6 is classified as an oil well and has validated the lease containing the well site.
Sun Ocean Energy, the operator, has acquired the necessary production equipment and is awaiting the lifting of Alberta government road bans. The production equipment can be trucked on to the well site as soon as the roads are dry enough in approximately two to three weeks time. The well will be production tested to determine oil flow rates and potential associated gas deliverability.

The operator has advised Copper Creek Ventures that the 6-31-20-3W5M well is still designated as a tight hole and cannot disclose any results without prior consent of the operator.
