grandichFrom: "Peter Grandich" To: Subject: Special Bulletin from Peter Grandich Date: May 3, 2004 9:10 AM From The Desk of Peter Grandich May 3, 2004 1200PM ET Dear Reader, I sent out a bulletin last week noting that Anooraq Resources (symbol ANO-Amex, ARQ-TSX-V) share price was at a point ($1.71Cdn) that if buying it at that price didn’t lead to a profit, yours truly should consider giving up on buying stocks. It has bounced from there and I still think it has a long way to go. A nice interview on ARQ can be heard at this link (scroll down to segment 4) https://www.kereport.com/recent.html Another stock that appears to be at the point ARQ was last week is Nevsun Resources (NSU-TSE $3.95). The recent swoon in metals and mining shares and a technical glitch on how they were reporting their results led to a share price decline that IMHO was greatly overdone. If I could clone company CEO John Clarke and V.P of Corporate Development Don Haliday, I could become wealthy selling them to mining companies who need the very best at what they do. NSU is a prime takeover candidate and the weakness could accelerate the timetable for such a bid. Back in the days when I use to appear regularly on CNBC-TV and the like, there was a regular commodities commentator who would also appear on the tube named Mr. James Steele. I considered him among the most astute back then and now.
