RE: playing with numbers

RE: playing with numbersAs a comment, I would say that your 5% penetration of the targeted market is much too low. Ifire has targeted this segment of the market (30-40") because it is not well served by competitive technology. I would there raise the penetration, all else being equal, to at least 50%. There is another area where I think your numbers should be modified. I believe the market is the end market not what Ifire would be producing. Each TV set would have the Ifire panel as a component of the final product. If the end product is $2500 US, then I would guess that the cost to the Manufacturer would be $1500 US. And I am going to assume that $500 of this cost is for the Ifire product. On the foregoing basis, based on wild unsubstantiated guesses that I have made, Ifire's gross revenue would be 20% of the final product sale price. So then, 50% of $19B X 20% = $1.9B. This I believe is the potential Ifire market, plus or minus, in this segment, 30-40 ". Perhaps you guys whio are following Ifire more closely than I am, can adjust the numbers. As to profitability, I am not attempting that!
