Another informative post spin, analysis of the market, comparing other situation with companies in similar situation is still on topic. What you didn't do was what you said you would do and answer the question about wanting to pick a fight. I ask rhetorically, more as something for you to think about. If you want feedback, I get a sense that you want to establish yourself as an expert, top dog, and then take on any challengers to you in this postiion. Very willing to share (which is appreciated by more than me) and maybe a little sensitive to being questioned on it, like you are defending yourself rather than an opinion, which for you rapidly gets framed as a fight. (you defintiely wouldn't be alone in that one either). Admittedly there are one or two on the board that do pick fights on trivial points, you have already 'met' them (fortunatley I have them on ignore), but most of us ain't like that, it's safe to drop your guard, relax, I am sure most of us appreciate having you on board.
