N.Sea oil for sell ....CALGARY, May 19, 2004 (The Canadian Press via COMTEX) -- Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. has acquired light oil properties in the central North Sea. Financial terms of the deal, announced Wednesday, were not revealed. The acquired properties are various majority stakes in the Tiffany, Toni and Thelma f ields as well as the Balmoral, Stirling and Glamis fields and production platforms and exploration acreage. The stakes in the acquired fields range from 68.68 per cent to 88.74 per cent. The seller was not revealed. Canadian Natural said the acquisition will not result in a material change to the company's previously announced forecasted year-end debt levels or financial ratios. Canadian Natural (TSX:CNQ) is a senior oil and natural gas producer, with core areas in Western Canada, the British part of the North Sea and off the coast of West Africa.
