4th Annual Metals & Mining Industry Conference
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 2, 2004--The New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) will present its 4th Annual Metals and Mining Industry Conference on June 22, 2004.
With an estimated net inflow of $10 billion, rising investment demand for gold was the main driving force for higher gold prices as world investment almost doubled in 2003. Furthermore, the European Central Bank has increased its limit to sell gold to 500 tons a year, up by 25 percent. Economic and financial concerns, such as the weak dollar and very low short-term interest rates, compounded by political tensions, have added up to buy-side interest continuing in these industries. Don't miss this unique chance to hear the metals and mining industry's leading experts and corporate leaders discuss the future of the industry and where to find some great stock investments.
Companies presenting include:
Afcan Mining Corporation (TSX:AFK), Admiral Bay Resources Inc. (TSX.V: ADB), Cambior Inc.(CBJ), Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp. (CDE), Desert Sun Mining Corp (TSX:DSM), Mines Management, Inc. (MGN), Orezone Resources, Inc. (OZN), Stornoway Diamond Corporation (SWY), Titanium Corporation, Inc. (TSX.V: TIC), and Western Silver Corporation (WTZ)
