RE: The "hybred" auto industry Phew! sorry about the all the typos in that little rant. among others that was SMART cars rather than smart cards. The point about postal delivery vehicles is a very very good one. Private sector SUV types aside, if they can get TCO figures down below deisil wehicles (which also sell at a premium despite being simpler, becuase they have no ignition system), then the comercial world will take notice. City/connurbation delivy vehicles with lots of stop start / waiting are a perfect market, that will take to hybrids, if and only if they TCO makes them better deal than the compettition. Idle
