AGM -175 m level difficulties

AGM -175 m level difficultiesIt was also mentioned that the 175 m level where Batch 7A was taken was too unsafe to mine due to instability, so they went directly above(?) it to try to drift in. There has been lots of talk about why they abandonned 175 m level, and this gives the reason why. The diamonds they had on display were all around 2.75 ct in size, and they seemed huge. And these were not the largest diamonds recovered! George also mentioned that about 40% of the diamond is removed to end up with a cut and polished stone. Also, they reported that 80% of the diamonds were clear, 12% were off-white and 8% were brown/gray. They said that that 12% of off-white could turn out to be gem-quality as well, which could potentially bring the total gem-quality percentage up over 90%.
