Fancy color intensity and more AGM infoThere were only 3 diamonds on the table for viewing. All clear, one displaying fantastic dodecahedral shape, the others not as well formed. I asked George about the coloured diamonds, how intense was the colour, etc., and he said he hasn't seen them. Don't know what that means. Where are these diamonds then if he hasn't seen them? But one Shore rep said: if we've got coloured diamonds, you can't convince me that we won't be seeing larger ones down the road.
Also mentioned at AGM was the fact that the mill is a hungry beast that can churn through kimberlite faster than they can mine it. They indicated in their speeches that results are going to be coming regularly now, with no delays in reporting, as batch after batch are processed. Even indicated that the next results are 'imminant'. Mentioned that Batch 6 was comprised of a 6A and a 6B but reported as Batch 6. Both A&B were the same grade. Said 7A was released, but 7B&C hadn't been processed yet. They will release it probably as Batch 7, the average of all of 7A,B&C. Also indicated that the higher grade zone of 7A that was difficult to mine due to mine safety would be hit on the drift that occurs just above 7A, but further to the east. The breccia of 7A must then rise in elevation to the east. Kirstin said that the breccia of 7A occurs in abundance at the 235 m level as well. They had 3 large kimberlite rock samples displayed on the table, all three of which come from the 235 m level, I believe, showing the wide diversity of rock types occurring on that level, hence, a complex body.
