Victoria Gold Corp VITFF

Victoria Gold Corp. is a gold mining company. The Company’s flagship asset is its 100% owned Dublin Gulch property, which hosts the Eagle, Olive and Raven gold deposits along with numerous targets along the Potato Hills Trend including Nugget, Lynx and Rex Peso. Dublin Gulch is situated in the central Yukon, Canada, approximately 375 kilometers (km) north of the capital city of Whitehorse. The property covers an area of approximately 555 square kilometers and is the site of the Company's Eagle and Olive Gold Deposits. It also holds a suite of other development and exploration properties in the Yukon, including Brewery Creek, Clear Creek, Gold Dome and Grew Creek. The Eagle West target area lies as close as 500 meters northwest of the main Eagle Gold Deposit and hosts the exposures of the granodiorite. The Raven target is located at the contact zone at the extreme southeastern portion of the Nugget Stock. The Brewery Creek Project is a past producing heap leach gold mining operation.

Bishop's comment from last year.

Bishop's comment from last year.Victoria Resources As in the case of Sunridge, only less so, VIT is a company in which I have a meaningful investment, largely as a result of participating in a $0.10 financing last April…Now that we have my conflict out of the way, we should begin by saying that Victoria got three Nevada project areas from Newmont—Hilltop-Slaven, Preble-Pinson, and Mill Canyon—and it will be the latter that will see a drill program by the end of this month or early next. The deposit being postulated here is a 3-5 million ounce target, with the project clearly permissive for even higher figures. I say that because Placer Dome’s Cortez Hills project adjoins this project to the west, and several other mines and deposits ring the property on three sides. The Bema association can be expected to augment VIT’s market profile, and with Bema now holding 38.5% of Victoria and much of the rest of it in the hands of true believers (absent a drill hole, I’m not yet in this camp), any hint of success here could make the chart even more impressive. If you own VIT from days gone by, I’d at least be holding going into the upcoming drill program. Bob Bishop – Oct 2003
