Bishop's comment from last year.Victoria Resources
As in the case of Sunridge, only less so, VIT is a company in which I have a meaningful investment, largely as a result of participating in a $0.10 financing last April…Now that we have my conflict out of the way, we should begin by saying that Victoria got three Nevada project areas from Newmont—Hilltop-Slaven, Preble-Pinson, and Mill Canyon—and it will be the latter that will see a drill program by the end of this month or early next. The deposit being postulated here is a 3-5 million ounce target, with the project clearly permissive for even higher figures. I say that because Placer Dome’s Cortez Hills project adjoins this project to the west, and several other mines and deposits ring the property on three sides. The Bema association can be expected to augment VIT’s market profile, and with Bema now holding 38.5% of Victoria and much of the rest of it in the hands of true believers (absent a drill hole, I’m not yet in this camp), any hint of success here could make the chart even more impressive. If you own VIT from days gone by, I’d at least be holding going into the upcoming drill program.
