RE: I continue to be amazeddangerous
you may be right that this is all due to manipulation, but imo, the ultimate responsibility for creating the environment for such manipulation to happen is born by none other than BT & onc management (and some posters here who hype this stock, especially when it is going up.
BT's self-imposed news blackouts on onc's clinical trials until final results are in hand, being non-committal to timelines for the commencement of US glio or NIH trials, etc., numerous examples of poor investor relations & news releases...eg. "there is nothing material happening at the company", making light of forward looking statement protection to an institutional investor audience, saying there were no safety issues with glio when the phase I safety trial was halted for 6 months, etc.
then you have the pumpers & hypers, who, if you read their posting history, never ever suggest this stock could go down no matter what - it seems beyond their capacity to consider market forces on the downside, only on the upside.
this may be an expensive lesson for some, and for that matter, my paper profits have taken a fair hit, though i've been buying the last two days, more as the price goes lower and plan to buy more tomorrow.
that is as much if not more due to my view that market forces that brought this stock down will help it recover, than any great confidence in BT & onc.
if you didn't expect this kind of volatility with a stock like onc & their management, then welcome to the world of small cap biotechs.
