ILB Though you can say your broker is responsible to complete your sell order, what if they can't find the shares once the buyout price is announced? Its like musical chairs and when the music stops even longs like us might be caught standing. I don't know but with all the crap that has been going on with shorting I have no idea how many phantom shares of balaton exist. I sure don't feel like fighting with my broker after this is done. I think I'll request my certs. BUT Does anybody know if you can do that with shares that are in a RRSP?? Would going to cert form count as a redemption?
