RE: The news release ongoings to take care...Some comments:
First, the drug is not toxic. It has side effects - nausea and vomiting. Toxic is something else.
And now from the CC:
There is good evidence that the nausea is caused by peaking and spiking of the drug. They want to limit this peaking on administration. (They do seem to have a good handle on the nausea problem)
Nausea is no worse than the competition.
Well over 40% had no nausea.

My own comments: No drug works without side effects on some patients. Of course, a wider application would be better. And whatever solution they propose has to be tested which may delay the Phase III trial unless it can be done in parallel with other planned phase II trials.
