In this event I would suggest very strongly you make certain (I'm sure you have) that the certs are "registered" in your name at the very least, as if there is a buyout of shares or a share swap, only those persons or "certs of record" will be notified and eligable. As it is an RRSP, I would think this is the case (registered in your name) but I personally would be confirming and even double confirming with my broker! P.S. I hear ya on the PI issue. I think now there are only maybe a couple (if that) firms in town (Van) that will accept BB shares. I ran into that problem with 1st Assoc. What happened to the "good ole days"? lol
