Bobwin, thanksThanks for your post on my valuation question. That really helps because there is no accessible research on the TransGlobe. I guess the summary is, yes it's currently expensive but the potential and track record warrant it.
Funny you mention Vaalco as one of your favourites, I already own PanOcean, Vaalco's partner in offshore Gabon. I see we think alike. I really liked PanOcean because it was trading at 5 x 2004 cfps and has the ability to double (not exagerating) production this year. It's funny but Vaalco always press releases a day before PanOcean so by watching Vaalco you can see what the results will be a day early.
I am finding I am being drawn to the international juniors, not because they are cheap, but they have so much upside ability. 2 years ago I was also aware of them, but they had the "international discount" - well that discount has disapeared! Hope I am not the last john q. public on the wagon.
I am curious if you have ever compared Centurion to Transglobe. There is some current research on Centurion on their website and they are about 7x 2004 cfps, again with the ability to hit some monsters, 9mm acres of land. Anyway, those are my international favourites Transglobe, PanOcean, and Centurion.
Thanks for the post.
