RE: RFID to thwart terrorism

RE: RFID to thwart terrorism There are so many articles posted on this thread on the topic of RFID, and I think that is a very good thing, that I will often skip through them and sometimes not read them, intending to do so "later", with mixed success. This artilce posted by nine_feet_underground was most interesting and much to my surprise and delight in it, following the discussion of how effective RFID can be as a counter to terrorism, was the following: "Companies like SAMSys are moving forward with second-generation RFID security technologies that may be even more effective. Sun Microsystems Inc. recently opened a test center in Dallas, giving customers a location to test an array of RFID scenarios, a spokesman told UPI." Nice to be mentioned, particularly in this important context. I really do think that RFID has a huge role to play in security matters and I have been hoping that SMY has been involved in this application.
