second drilllSECOND DRILL MOBILIZED TO DEL NORTE PROPERTY
Teuton Resources Corp. and Lateegra Resources Corp. have mobilized a second drill rig to the Del Norte property. This rig, supplied by contractor Driftwood Diamond Drilling of Smithers, B.C., will also explore the LG vein.
The first drill rig on the Del Norte property has completed three holes from a pad situated 300 feet southeast of pad A. The deepest of these holes intersected the LG vein between 489 feet and 500 feet, downhole. This rig has now been moved to a pad northwest of pad A.
The second drill rig has completed two holes from a pad situated 150 feet southeast of pad A, and is on the third hole from this setup.
Trenching has uncovered a new exposure of the LG vein, 2,950 feet northwest of pad A. The find represents a very significant increase in the strike length of the LG vein structure. The vein appears to be six feet wide in the trench, with abundant quartz stringers extending for a further 10 feet into the hanging wall. Additional drill pads will be constructed in the area of the trench to test this discovery.
Trenching beyond the southeastern limits of the surface exposure of the LG vein, in the direction of the K (Kosciuszko) zone, has also been successful in finding the vein beneath 12 feet of overburden.
Assays from trenching and drill core are awaited
